Fixed Bed Systems
The submerged fixed bed is continuously operating, fully biological aerobic wastewater treatment process. It is based on bio-film technology using a carrier media synthetic material as a basis for sessile (clinging to the surface) micro-organisms. The oxygen supply is guaranteed by blowing air from below into the stationary fixed bed.
